Dr. Mahesh Goyani conferred the bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat in 2005. Mastered the field of Computer Engineering from Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidya Nagar in 2009. He pursued Bachelor of Arts in Literature from Gujarat University in 2014. He also completed Ph.D. in area of Facial Expression Recognition from Charotar University of Science and Technology, Changa in 2017.
Currently, he is serving as an Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Engineering at Government Engineering College, Modasa. He has been in this fulfilling academic field since May 2005.
His areas of interest includes Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Computer Algorithms, Computer Graphics, Data Mining and Data Structures. He is also skilled in programming and Scripting languages such as C, C++, Java, PHP, Bootstrap, Latex, Python, MATLAB, R Programming, RapidMiner, etc. He is also proficient in graphics packages such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Camtasia, Filmora, and many others.
He received BEST RESEARCHER NATIONAL AWARD from the IRDP Group of Journals, Chennai for Outstanding Excellence and Remarkable Achievements in the Field of Teaching, Research and Publications in 2018. It was an honour for him to be invited as a SESSION CHAIR at International Conference on Computer Science, Engineering and Information Technology, Tirunelveli, Tamilnadu, Sept – 2011. He has got the opportunity to work as a reviewer in many reputed International Journals and also have been a Program Committee Member at many International Conferences. He has delivered expert talks, workshops, faculty development programs and webinars on various topics across the state.
Dr. Goyani has the soul of a writer. He has written 18 books on Algorithm Analysis and Design, Computer Graphics, and Virtual Reality. He also runs the CODECRUCKS blog, where he routinely publishes articles about computer science and engineering.
In addition to technical lectures, Prof. Goyani has delivered talks on a variety of non-technical topics such as the Essence of Photography, Effective Resume Writing, the Art of Cracking Interviews, and so on.
Beyond his academic field, Prof. Goyani has a keen interest in Photography, Literature, Poetry, Painting, Paper Art, Crafts, Music, Reading, Cinematography, Blogging etc.
